What is Hunt for Hope?
Hunt for Hope is an old fashioned scavenger hunt! Hunters will be given a list of items, some to find, some to snap a photo. All funding raised from Hunt for Hope will underwrite IBC research.
How do I join in the fun?
Sign up! Online at http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/huntforhopevero/huntforhopevero2013 or stop by Treasure Coast Family Dental, 6610 20th St, Vero Beach to get a registration form. (772) 567-7510
The suggested $25 donation (or more if you wish) includes you in the activities for the afternoon.
What is IBC?
Inflammatory breast cancer is a rare but most fatal form of breast cancer. While it accounts for 2-6% of all breast cancers, the 5-year overall survival rate is 40%, as compared to near 90% for all types of breast cancer combined. Since IBC, inflammatory breast cancer, can not be detected until a stage III, so we need more research for this more aggressive breast cancer.
The IBC Network has funded two major IBC research projects in the last year with the Hunts, totaling over $100,000. ♥ Your $$$ will directly support IBC research. Please share, please plan to attend, and ask friends and family to share and attend. We can only fund if you help. Thank you for allowing us, no, enabling us to fight IBC.

Inflammatory Breast Cancer: The Silent Killer
Let me tell you why I am doing this.
This is my friend Dr. Lori Grennan.
At the age of 32 she was diagnosed with stage III inflammatory breast cancer as a mom of a newborn and a 3 year old boy.
She was truly one of the most extraordinary women that I knew. Before she was diagnosed, I had not heard of IBC and I was shocked that it does not present with a lump and is not typically found on mammograms. Now I am educating others in her memory and raising money to help fund research to prevent and treat it in future generations.
No one should have to go into hospice at 35.
Helping with Hope,
Holly Hamilton
